Jesse Herrera graduated from the USC School of Social Work in 1974. He is bilingual/bicultural and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1976. His current position as Ethnic Services Manager for the Behavioral Health Division of the Monterey County Health Department provides him an opportunity to advocate for integration of cultural/linguistic competence and social justice coupled with expansion of community guided services for unserved, underserved communities.
