Lana Beasley received her PhD in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2008. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Oklahoma State University and an Assistant Professor of Research at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She conducts research in the area of child maltreatment. Specifically, she is interested in research on child abuse prevention and is currently working on a project examining a child maltreatment prevention program. She is also interested in the cultural adaptation of treatments, the family environment of children exposed to maltreatment, and research focusing on foster children.
