Raquel Halfond, M.A.

Raquel Halfond is a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University (Ph.D. expected Aug. 2011). She is completing her Clinical Psychology Internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she is specializing in trauma work with Latino populations on the Project Heal Trauma Psychology specialty team. In September 2011, she will be a Psychology Post-doctoral Fellow at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Ms. Halfond is bilingual and bicultural. Her research focuses on the promotion of positive health and development among Latino youth. She completed her B.S. at the College of William and Mary and her M.A. at Wake Forest University.
