Dr. Celada was born in Peru, raised in Spain and has resided in California since 2000. She received her B.A. from University of California, Irvine in 2004 and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International Univeristy, Los Angeles (AIU-LA) in 2010. Her clinical experience has included psychotherapy, advocacy and outreach in community mental health centers, medical settings and schools. As a Postdoctoral fellow at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, she specializes in trauma-based treatment and assessment of underserved children and families. Her areas of interest include Latino mental health, multigenerational trauma, acculturative stress and its impact on family dynamics.
