Veronica Chavez, Psy.D.

Dr. Chavez is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical supervisor at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Project Heal Trauma Program. She obtained her doctorate degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2004. Dr. Chavez specializes in childhood trauma and provides trauma-based treatment and assessments to children/adolescents and their families who have experienced trauma, i.e. sexual, physical, emotional, and neglect. She also coordinates the Parent-Child Interactional Therapy (PCIT) program and works with children in the foster care system and who are in the process of adoption.
